ABOUT
I am a licensed clinical social worker in the states of Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and West Virginia. I received my Master of Social Work (MSW) at the University of Cincinnati in 2001. I have over 20 years of experience as an outpatient therapist treating teens and adults in a variety of settings. I am a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and follow their code of ethics and good practice. I am the owner of Cincinnati Walk and Talk Therapy, LLC where I offer outdoor therapy sessions.
I use an eclectic and integrative approach that is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I don’t believe one size fits all. I focus the foundation of my work on building warm, trusting relationships with clients in order to encourage a deeper understanding of themselves and those around them. I believe all emotions have purpose and everyone has a story to tell. We will work together to identify strengths you already have that can be leveraged in dealing with your situation because you are the expert on you. I consider myself to be a down-to-earth, practical therapist. I use simple practices that can be incorporated into your everyday life. I will regularly check in with you regarding your goals and if we are on target with our approach. During your free confidential consultation, I'll answer your questions and take time to learn about your specific needs to determine if I am the right therapist match for you.
When I am not working, I love spending time with my family and friends, being outdoors, trying new foods, listening to music, and watching documentaries. My favorite quotes are:

I am not in-network with any insurance companies. Payment (cash, check, or credit card) is due at the time of the appointment. Upon request, I offer an invoice that you can submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
